The conditions for performing amals in the Fixed Signs of the Zodiac are as follows:
Sun should be in a Fixed sign
If the person on whom the amal is to be done is a male then the aspect should be positive in Sun and Saturn. If the person is a female then the aspect should be positive in Venus and Saturn.
